Look? This was the main reason I purchased it. Definitely looks unique and I love how it's basically a record player in a suitcase. I wasn't disappointed by it when I opened it and actually I was rather impressed with the material.

Sound? To be honest it sounds just like any other record player at this pricepoint. Nothing special but definitely not bad. I linked it up to my speaker anyways.

Ease? Yes it was very easy to use. I literally took a minute to flip through the manual and instantly felt like some professional.

5/5? Yes, no problems at all.

I bought this to transfer some old vinyl discs to my PC. The results from the line output are superb and I can't believe the results from such a low cost unit. The built-in speaker output isn't at all bad either but you'll improve it greatly by connecting to a unit with larger speakers. The stylus arm has a lovely, smooth action dropping gently onto the disc. I've actually cut out a disc of black felt to place on the turntable just to reduce the possibility of rumble. It comes in a very sold wooden suitcase type box. If this is what you are looking for then I can't recommend this unit more highly.

My record collection down from the attic, needed a record player with speakers that could listen to before converted them through my computer, the in built speakers are adequate for the purpose, but when connected my external speakerssystem to the turntable the results were excellent, ideal present for anyone who is either new to vinyl records, or someone like me who has a good collection of records and needs to hear some of them that are not available on any other format, overall solid build quality with small form factor.

Purchased for my nephew's 30 birthday. He now has an interest in vinyl. He is very pleased with the record player. It is quite sturdy and the sound quality is very good.

Absolutely love it. Such a tidy unit. I didn't choose the colour but the girlfriend is the boss so she likes it!

The built in speakers are nice and give a good account of the sound quality of vinyl.
I've wired it up with the phono cables though the TV which sounds incredible!

The unit is small so can be stored away easily and it's built out of a good strong plastic.

Definitely recommend for the price.

I live in a small flat so it is plenty loud enough for me. However there is an output to plug in more amplification, if needed. The interior of the case. Turntable, arm etc. are a little on the flimsy side. So don’t be too heavy handed with it. For the price I would recommend it.

I purchased the first record player but when it arrived the turntable did not work. I was disappointed as it was bought for my partner as a surprise so I originally gave a one star.

We loved the retro look and was determined to  reorder. There was not a problem with returning it as the process was simple.

The new one arrived and from 9pm to 2pm we reveled in nostalgia, listening to our 45s. The quality of the sound is not equal to CDs, Mp3 or a £200 plus system but as we both said..."it is exactly as we listened to them all those years ago, faults and all".

Are we happy with the item...a big "oh yessssss".

Was pleasantly surprised with 1byone Belt -Drive portable vinyl record player. Its got everything that a more expensive record deck would have. The in built speakers are really good and don't sound "tinny" at all. It really brings my old vinyl records to life, both lps and 45s now have a new lease of life. Its light weight so it is easily portable and the suit case style makes it a real space saver.
All in all a very good product and I would recommend to anyone who was thinking of buying a suitcase style record player..
